László Láner and Gábor Takács Bencze, who were among the founders of the Homérosz Society, started to collect articles in the 1980s from Hungarian and foreign newspapers concerning the issue of homosexuality, AIDS, the homosexual community, etc . This collection was donated to the Háttér Society in 2005.
