The exhibition accompanied the academic conference "Polish Year 1989" organised by the Faculty of Journalism and Political Studies (University of Warsaw) in 2009 - 20 years after the government-opposition talks in Magdalenka. It presented the political and social life from the beginning of 1989, when the talks in Magdalenka took place, to autumn 1989 when Tadeusz Mazowiecki became the Prime Minister of Poland. From the scope of photographs presented on-line we can assume that the exhibition strongly underlined the significance of 1989 for the Polish history.
