László Csorba is a Hungarian historian. He graduated from Eötvös Loránd University in 1979. From 1976 to 1991, he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. In 1991, he began teaching in the Cultural History Department of the Eötvös Loránd University. He was the director of the Hungarian Academy of Rome between 2003 and 2007. From 2007 to 2010, he was the deputy director of the Institute of History of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He was the director of the Hungarian National Museum from 2010 to 2016.
