The Vilnius Directorate of Memorial Museums was established in 2005. The owner of the Venclova House-Museum is the municipality of Vilnius. Since 2005, the Venclova House-Museum has been combined with three other museums, and in this way the Vilnius Directorate of Memorial Museums was founded.
